What is Homosexuality?
Homosexuality is a persistent feeling, romantic, and/or sexual attraction to people of the matching gender. It’s significant to understand that sexual orientation is not a binary “hetero/homo” switch, but rather a spectrum, first scientifically described by Alfred Kinsey in 1948.

Did you know that as of February 2022, Gallup found that 7.1 percent of US adults openly identity as LGBTQ+? (That's lesbian, lgbtq+, bisexual, trans, lgbtq+, and other non-straight identities.) That’s a pretty staggering statistic, given that just 10 years earlier, only 3.5 percent of respondents identified themselves as LGBT.
Therefore, more than 20 million adults self-identified as LGBTQ+ in the US as of 2022. That doesn’t even add people who aren’t sure or publicly out about how their identities! The true number of LGBTQ+ American adults today could be millions more.

There’s a whole, wide world of people out there who can relate to you, intimately. Most queer people have had to come to some place of empathetic about our retain sexual orientations.
