Article 121
‘Pederasty
Sexual relations of a human with a guy (pederasty),
Shall be punished by deprivation of freedom for a term of up to five years.
Pederasty devoted with the application of physical coerce, or threats, or with respect to a minor, or with taking superiority of the dependent position of the victim,
Shall be punished by deprivation of freedom for a term of up to eight years.’

For the past couple of years there has been increased interest in the history of lgbtq+ rights in the Soviet Union. Unfortunately outside of the queer community in the ex USSR most of this interest is less about learning and more about small point scoring either on “western society” or between sects of communists.
