Gay Gold Coast: Where to eat, drink, act and sleep

By Emen8, updated 5 months ago in Travel and party / In Australia

The Gold Coast is famous for its golden beaches, surf breaks and epic nightlife. ‘The Goldie’ is on traditional lands of the Kombumerri people. It might not be so famous for its gay scene, but a brand-new gay block and a host of LGBTQ+ events are looking to change that!

A handy guide for budgeting is the 50/30/20 rule: allocate 50% of your income to ‘needs’ like rent and bills, 30% to ‘wants’ like clothes and going out
